Quizmaster Frank Soldato has found himself in Los Angeles, California USA on business. Upon deciding that he can't live without the thrill of a quiz, Frank traps two new quizzlings,Rob Heath and Ben Hallam, and forces them to face off (fully clothed? Naked? This editor can only presume so much!) in his diabolical California-themed film quiz!

With rounds such as the life and work of Cameron Crowe, sports movies, and a soundtrack round re-visiting some old TV themes from a previous quiz, Frank will guide these two newbies through a cinematic descent into LA-themed madness. Will they hold a candle to the two quizzlings trapped in London, or will they be taken to the bank of the river like George took Lenny and left to pet the alfalfa-fed rabbits in the sky!?

With no quiz this month and Frank still dispatched on a covert operation behind enemy lines (he’s in America doing work), the Filmageddon team meet via a dodgy Skype connection to have a quick catch up and discuss recent films they’ve seen.

After Frank leaves, Luke and Adam discuss why Adam won’t watch the Godfather, and what Luke actually does outside of the podcast. Turns out he’s made a music video recently, which you can see on his website here.

The next quiz is September 17th at the Prince Charles Cinema. It’s an 80’s inspired affair, imaginatively titled ‘Like Totally Awsome 80’s Film Quiz’. Fancy dress is like totally encouraged. You can get tickets at the box office or via the Prince Charles Cinema website.

So, what happens after the Filmageddon? THE [INTERNATIONAL] FALLOUT!

Host Frank Soldato takes time out from his holidays (or as he calls it, his ‘vacation time’) to chat with his quizzlings Adam Grundy and Luke Ibbetson about what went down at the last Filmageddon podcast and live quiz, 'The Day The Quiz Stood Still', their July science fiction spectacular.

They also discuss the current selection of films out right now, as well as their burning anger about the yellow horsemen of the apocalypse, the Despicable Me minions. Urghhhh.
